Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies seeks a Configuration Management Site Lead/Supervisor to govern CM activities from concept through production and sustainment. You will supervise CM staff, act as the site authority for hardware, software, firmware, and product-data configuration management, and ensure alignment with enterprise CM direction.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Software, and Program Management to maintain configuration integrity and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, systems engineering, business, information management, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in configuration management or related fields in aerospace/regulated industries.
• Minimum of two years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience applying configuration management principles across hardware, software, firmware, documentation, and integrated systems.
• Ability to interpret contracts, RFPs, SOWs, specifications, technical requirements, and supplier flow-down requirements.
• Working knowledge of standards and regulations (EIA-649, AS9100, ISO 9001, MIL-HDBK-61, ITAR, EAR).

Responsibilities

• Supervise site CM personnel and set priorities.
• Serve as primary site authority for CM across hardware, software, firmware, and data.
• Provide program status, audit readiness, and data integrity updates.
• Lead configuration identification, baselines, change control, and audits.
• Support enterprise CM reviews and process standardization.
• Coordinate staffing, schedules, and resources; escalate risks.
