Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies is hiring a Senior Configuration Management Specialist (Level III) to independently drive CM across programs and through production. The role partners with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Software, Systems Engineering and Program Management to maintain configuration integrity from concept to sustainment.

Ideal candidates will mentor junior CM staff, lead defined workstreams, and guide change-control activities within enterprise CM governance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in engineering or related field with 5+ years configuration management experience.
• Hands-on CM: identification, change control, status accounting, baselines, release management, audits.
• Experience in aerospace/defense or regulated environments; familiarity with lifecycle records.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day CM execution for programs and products.
• Develop and maintain CM plans, procedures, and lifecycle records.
• Coordinate baselines, product structures, and data packages across teams.
