Job summary

HDR is seeking a Site Civil Team Lead to manage a multi-disciplinary group in our Madison and Milwaukee offices. You will oversee Site Civil Engineers, EITs, and Designers on complex datacenter projects, guiding planning, design, construction support and commissioning.

Strong leadership, writing specifications, and communication are essential as you mentor staff and coordinate with marketing and clients. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 7+ years of experience, and active

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 7 years experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for operations of production team including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support.
• Take administrative responsibility for team staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections.
• Be involved in marketing planning as well as proposal scope and fee development.
• Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues.
• See that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systems.
• Lead coordination with multidiscipline teams.
• Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts.
