HDR is seeking a Site Civil Team Lead to oversee a team of engineers, EITs, and designers on complex projects in the Technology, Media and Telecom sector, based in Madison, WI and/or Milwaukee, WI.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, design coordination, and collaboration to deliver design excellence. Responsibilities include market engagement, scope development, and high-quality project execution across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience.
• Professional registration may be required depending on role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Active participation in an employee‑owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for operations of production team including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support.
• Take administrative responsibility for team staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections.
• Be involved in marketing planning as well as proposal scope and fee development.
• Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues.
• See that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systems.
• Implement, monitor and support company policies.
• Select, train, develop and manage technical and production personnel.
• Lead coordination with multi-discipline teams.
• Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts.
