Job summary

HDR is seeking a Site Civil Team Lead to guide a multi-disciplinary group in Madison/Milwaukee areas with a focus on datacenter and mission-critical projects. This role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and collaboration across engineering disciplines within HDR’s Building Engineering Services.

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of site civil experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
A minimum of 7 years experience
Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
Strong communication and listening skills
Ability to handle multiple assignments
Good leadership and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership to the Site Civil team, coordinating staff development and ensuring profitability and quality control.
Coordinate the design work of Site Civil Engineers, EITs, and Designers within a multi-disciplinary team.
Support marketing and project pursuits, develop workplans, and contribute to proposals.
Lead projects with predominantly engineering focus across multiple disciplines.
Collaborate with National Directors and marketing staff on local and national marketing and production efforts.
