Job summary

Dewberry’s Danville, VA office seeks a Site/Civil Project Engineer with 3+ years in civil design and land development, including grading, drainage, water and sewer systems. Move projects from concept to permit and construction, coordinating with Project Managers and clients.

The role requires strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and proficiency in Excel/Word; VA PE preferred. Mentoring junior staff and delivering plans and reports on schedule are expected.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in Land Development design.
• Five or more years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate Land Development design aspects.
• Work closely with Project Managers and jurisdictional staff.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Prepare client communications, construction documents (plans and specs) and technical reports.
• Assist in project milestones and progress monitoring by Project Manager.
• Other duties as required.
