Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern/Co‑op – Site/Civil Engineering to join its collaborative team in Fort Worth, TX. This role supports site feasibility studies which may involve field work, technical report preparation and calculations, pre‑construction conditions documentation, design plans and specifications.

You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience by partnering with industry leadership on a variety of land development projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical, multitasking, and judgment abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Travel may be required based on business needs and project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using engineering software and equipment.
• Evaluate soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topography for project planning and design.
• Support zoning, ordinance and permit assessments and feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Apply engineering knowledge and advanced mathematics.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
