Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering to join its collaborative team in Houston, TX. This role supports site feasibility studies, field work, and design documentation, offering hands-on experience with industry leadership on land development projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering; GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical, multitasking, and judgment abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, cost estimates and design plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related software.
• Analyze soil, terrain, hydrological and geologic data for project impacts.
• Support zoning, permit assessments and feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Apply engineering knowledge and advanced mathematics to project tasks.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
