Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern – Site/Civil Engineering to join its Cleveland, OH team. You will support site feasibility studies, field work, and design documentation while learning from industry leadership on a variety of land development projects.

This internship offers hands-on experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, strong mentorship, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to contribute to real projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering; GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Travel may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering and land development projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, schedules, and cost estimates using relevant software.
• Analyze soil, terrain, hydrology, topography, and geology for project feasibility.
• Support zoning, ordinance, and permit assessments.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
