Job summary

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to join our multidisciplinary design teams in McHenry, IL (also in Peoria, IL, or Houston, TX), with potential for other locations and partial remote work.

You will focus on infrastructure projects across industrial, site development, ports/multimodal freight, and manufacturing sectors. The role requires a BS in civil engineering and a PE license, plus 5+ years in site development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience with site development emphasis.
• PE license in state of assigned office or ability to reciprocate within 6 months.
• Licensure in Texas/Louisiana or Canadian province viewed favorably.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams and mentor junior staff on civil/site design.
• Prepare and review design calculations and construction documents.
• Coordinate scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables with project managers.
• Ensure cost-effective and constructible project delivery.
• Collaborate with clients to meet requirements and approvals.
