Job summary
Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a full‑time Site Civil Engineer for multiple offices, including McHenry, IL. The role focuses on planning and delivering infrastructure projects for industrial, site development, and transportation sectors, with opportunities to work across markets.
The position requires a civil engineering degree, 5+ years of experience, and a Professional Engineer license or reciprocation plan. Occasional travel and collaboration with remote teams are expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
- 5+ years of general civil engineering experience with emphasis on site development.
- Professional Engineer license in state of assigned office or ability to reciprocate within 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of multidisciplinary design teams to plan and execute infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and review complex design calculations.
- Prepare and review construction documents for rehabilitation of industrial infrastructure.
- Mentor and develop junior staff; manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to track backlog and staffing; deliver cost-effective, constructible designs.
