Job summary

Goodwyn Mills and Cawood (GMC) in Tampa, FL seeks a Site Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead site civil design and client relationships on commercial, institutional, municipal and residential projects.

The role requires 6+ years of site civil experience, Civil 3D proficiency, and a PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months. Travel may be required to support project execution and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 6 years of site civil engineering experience on diverse projects.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Proficient with Civil 3D and stormwater design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and independent design decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site civil efforts from concept through completion across multiple project types.
• Prepare stormwater management designs and reports, including hydraulic analyses.
• Manage workflows to keep projects on schedule and within quality standards.
• Coordinate with permitting authorities and project team members.
• Travel as necessary to support project execution and client meetings.
