Woolpert is hiring a Site Civil Engineer Intern to join our Civil Engineering team in Chicago, IL and other locations. This full-time internship offers 40 hours per week, with typical hours 9am–5pm, Monday through Friday.

Candidates should be pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering, have 0–2 years of related experience, and be familiar with Autodesk Civil 3D; some field travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Civil Engineering.
• 0–2 years related experience.
• Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Hydraulics and Hydrology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design site layout plans aligned with client needs and Woolpert standards.
• Develop concept and grading plans using Civil 3D.
• Support hydrology and stormwater management studies.
• Prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
• Coordinate with project management to resolve issues.
