Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. is seeking a Site Civil Engineer Intern to join our Civil Engineering team as a full-time internship in multiple cities, including Fairview Heights, IL. Hours are 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

Candidates should be pursuing BS in Civil Engineering.
0–2 years related experience.
Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
Hydraulics and Hydrology knowledge preferred.
Occasional field work, frequent local travel, and overnight travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Design site layout plans aligned with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
Demonstrate interest and knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.
Multi-task and prioritize workflow to complete tasks.
Collaborate with project management to identify impediments and develop solutions.
Perform pavement assessments and compile data and reports.
Fulfill other duties as assigned.
