Woolpert, Inc. invites applications for a Site Civil Engineer Intern to join our Civil Engineering team in multiple locations including Chicago, IL. The internship runs full-time at 40 hours per week from 9am to 5pm, with no visa sponsorship provided.

Candidate should be pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering, with 0–2 years of related experience and familiarity with Autodesk Civil 3D. Hydraulics and Hydrology knowledge are preferred. Occasional field work and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Civil Engineering.

• Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Hydraulics and Hydrology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and create site layout plans per client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Utilize Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
• Demonstrate interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.
• Multi-task, prioritize workflow and complete tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with project management to identify impediments and develop solutions.
• Perform pavement assessments and compile data/reports.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
