Woolpert, Inc. invites applications for a Site Civil Engineer Intern to join our Civil Engineering team in Pittsburgh, PA (and other locations). The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during standard hours (9am–5pm).

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering with 0–2 years of related experience, and have experience with Autodesk Civil 3D. Offshore field work and local travel may be required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–2 years related internship/work experience.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D or similar software.
• Hydraulics and hydrology knowledge preferred.
• Occasional field work, local travel, and potential overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Design site layout plans aligned with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Use Civil 3D to develop concept, grading, and site designs.
• Support hydrology and stormwater management tasks.
• Multitask, prioritize workflow, and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with project management to identify and overcome impediments.
• Perform pavement assessments and compile related data/reports.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
