KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Site/Civil Engineer-in-Training for Summer 2027 to support public and private land development projects across multiple Maryland/Washington area offices and Pennsylvania locations.

Qualifications

0–2 years of engineering-related experience or internships.
ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
Solid knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and standard MS Office apps.
Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and solve problems.

Responsibilities

Support engineering design for land development projects (commercial, residential, institutional).
Assist with site layout, grading, stormwater, utilities, and erosion/sediment control calculations.
Prepare construction documents and technical specs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Participate in permitting processes with local/state/federal agencies.
Conduct site visits and prepare field observation reports; assist with project schedules and cost estimates.
