Job summary

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts seeks a site-based facilitated coordinator to support girls-focused mentoring programs in a direct service model. The role spans High School Mentoring, Workplace Mentoring, and Group Mentoring, serving youth from elementary through high school and fostering a nurturing, mentor-rich environment.

The role emphasizes planning and delivering engaging, SEL-focused programming, building partnerships with schools and workplaces, and supporting matches

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 6+ months relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Availability to work a full-time schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate weekly in-person programming at school and workplace partner sites.
• Recruit, assess, and match volunteer mentors with mentees according to agency standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of match progress and outcomes.
