Duties

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop project specifications and designs.
• Utilise software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D for creating detailed engineering drawings.
• Conduct land surveying to assess site conditions and prepare reports on findings.
• Perform system design calculations using tools like Mathcad to ensure structural integrity and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
• Prepare documentation for project proposals, including technical reports and presentations.
• Assist in the evaluation of project costs and timelines to facilitate effective budgeting.

Experience

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other relevant engineering tools (Revit, ArcGIS).
• Experience with system design and land surveying techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 60 months

Pay: £26,000.00-£35,600.00 per year
