Planate Management Group (PMG) seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to serve as Special Inspector of Record on site at Naval Support Facility Indian Head, MD. You will ensure structural systems meet design specs, codes, and standards during construction.

Ideal candidates hold a PE in Civil/Structural engineering with 5+ years in inspection, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and can manage multiple on-site tasks independently.

Qualifications

• PE license in Civil or Structural engineering required.
• Minimum five years in construction inspection and structural engineering.
• Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and foundations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SIOR for assigned projects and conduct on-site inspections.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specs, and codes.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting observations.
• Collaborate with contractors and design teams to resolve issues.
