Job summary

Victor Sierra Aviation, a McFarlane Aviation business unit, is seeking an SIOP Manager in Baldwin City, KS. You will lead planning, purchasing, inventory, and distribution, aligning ERP/MRP with production capacity and customer demand.

This role collaborates with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Quality to improve on-time delivery and inventory performance. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in supply chain leadership, ERP/MRP expertise, and a background in manufacturing—preferably aviation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in supply chain, planning or manufacturing with leadership experience.
• Experience building or leading ERP/MRP-driven planning in manufacturing.
• Strong ERP master data knowledge and planning parameter experience.
• Experience leading Buyers/Planners, Distribution Supervisors, or similar roles.
• Experience with S&OP/SIOP or integrated planning preferred.
• Aviation manufacturing experience and APICS CPIM/CSCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve material and production planning processes.
• Develop ERP/MRP as the primary system for planning and purchasing decisions.
• Set planning lead times, safety stocks, and lot sizes; manage master data.
• Translate demand into material and production requirements.
• Develop short- and long-range capacity plans and identify constraints.
• Drive cross-functional planning cadence across Supply Chain, Operations, and Sales.
• Improve data ownership and reduce spreadsheet reliance.
• Lead purchasing, inventory, and distribution activities through the team.
