Job summary

Movement Search & Delivery is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize production planning, scheduling, and lean initiatives across aerospace manufacturing environments. You will drive ERP-driven workflows, coordinate with engineering and program management, and push for cost-efficient, on-time delivery of manufactured parts.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in management with shop-floor operations, CNC/assembly knowledge, and a strong data analytics background to support

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Business, Engineering, or related field.
Six Sigma or Lean experience is essential.
10+ years in a management role with shop floor operations, product flow, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain operations business plans including program requirements, labor needs, cycle times and production costs.
Forecast monthly production sales and identify risks and opportunities to meet the annual plan.
Ensure on-time OEM production deliveries by executing ERP schedules for manufactured jobs.
Promote continuous improvement and lean mindset on the production floor through Kaizens and lean events.
Collaborate with Engineering to transition products to full-rate production with manufacturing design considerations.
Coordinate with Program Management and Directors to align customer demands with production capacity and recovery plans.
Define responsibilities for organizational staff to achieve business objectives.
Understand site product lines and processes required to manufacture them.
