Job summary

Victor Sierra Aviation in Baldwin City, KS seeks a Business Unit Manager to lead a cross-functional team and drive growth, profitability, and performance for a key BU. You will own pricing strategies, customer relationships, and strategic execution with a focus on bookings, EBITDA, and long-term value creation.

The role reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing, involves heavy customer interaction, contract negotiations, and about 35–50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; technical, engineering, or business field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive professional experience.
• Aerospace/aviation or defense industry experience preferred.
• Experience with pricing, contracts, and P&L management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Business Unit performance including bookings, sales, EBITDA, and other key financial and operational objectives.
• Drive sustainable value creation through value-based pricing, profitable new business growth, productivity improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Unit strategy focused on consistent year-over-year growth and profitability, including the Annual Business Unit Plan.
• Develop and present Quarterly Business Reviews to executive management, clearly communicating performance, opportunities, risks, and corrective actions.
• Lead and align a cross-functional Business Unit team to achieve customer, operational, and financial objectives.
