As a SIOP Analyst, you will help connect demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial planning across the organization. Your analysis will support smarter business decisions, improve forecast accuracy, strengthen customer service, and help leadership respond to risks and opportunities.

If you enjoy working with data, solving complex planning challenges, and influencing decisions across multiple departments, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do
Lead and Improve the SIOP Process
  • Coordinate and continuously improve the monthly SIOP cycle, including Portfolio Review, Demand Review, Supply Review, Pre-SIOP, and Executive SIOP meetings.
  • Develop and enhance SIOP dashboards, KPI reporting, and planning visibility tools.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance across systems and stakeholders.
  • Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen SIOP maturity.
  • Lead the resolution of critical planning issues, including material shortages and demand-supply imbalances.
  • Support the Pre-SIOP and Executive SIOP escalation process by clearly communicating risks, trade-offs, and financial impacts.
  • Translate capacity analysis into business cases and capital investment recommendations related to CapEx, backlog, and inventory strategy.
  • Support the implementation and integration of demand planning capabilities within the SIOP process.
Support Demand and Supply Planning
  • Develop and refine demand plans using historical data, market trends, and business inputs.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align forecasts with commercial and financial objectives.
  • Evaluate supply plans for capacity constraints, risk exposure, and optimization opportunities.
  • Identify supply-demand imbalances and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
Improve Inventory and Working Capital
  • Monitor inventory turns, service levels, days of supply, and other key performance indicators.
  • Identify and mitigate excess and obsolete inventory risks.
  • Develop and maintain safety stock strategies aligned with service and financial targets.
  • Support initiatives that improve working capital while maintaining customer service levels.
Deliver Data-Driven Insights
  • Design, develop, and maintain reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, ERP/MRP systems, and related analytics platforms.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on forecast variance, service gaps, and inventory performance.
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Use emerging AI and analytics tools, such as Claude and Codex, to accelerate insight generation and reporting efficiency.
Build Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Serve as a key liaison across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Drive alignment around planning assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support executive SIOP reviews with accurate analysis, thoughtful recommendations, and strategic insights.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of progressive experience in supply chain, demand planning, SIOP, IBP, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and systems-thinking capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar analytics platforms.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SyteLine experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of integrated supply chain planning, including forecasting, inventory, and capacity planning.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a mature SIOP or IBP environment.
  • Knowledge of statistical forecasting and modeling techniques.
  • APICS or ASCM certification, such as CPIM or CSCP.
  • Manufacturing or distribution industry experience.
  • Experience implementing or improving demand planning processes.
