Job summary

Wayne State University in Detroit seeks a Single Site Coordinator for the C2 Pipeline - College of Nursing to oversee after-school activities at the assigned site. The role coordinates academic experiences, field trips, and staff liaison among program staff, schools, and families.

The candidate manages curriculum implementation for 32 weeks/year and 6 weeks of summer camps, supports HR processes, and contributes to program development and evaluation under the Associate Project Director.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
• Two years’ experience managing a K-12 after school enrichment program or in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Five years’ experience in an education setting and/or five years working in an urban 21st CCLC learning program.
• Experience training and supervising staff.
• Experience with MDE 21st CCLC evaluation and systems, including EZ Reports and YPQA.

Responsibilities

• Implement school age educational activities at the assigned location under the 21st CCLC grant.
• Coordinate activities including academic learning experiences, field trips, and site-based liaison among staff, school staff, community partners, students, and parents.
• Maintain a safe and efficient learning environment for the after-school program.
• Ensure a plan and curriculum is implemented for at least 32 weeks in the school year and 6 weeks of site-based summer camps.
• Support HR processes for site staff including hiring, payroll, and evaluation.
• Participate in development, planning and evaluation of C2 Pipeline Programs.
