Job summary

Wayne State University, C2 Pipeline is seeking a part-time educator to teach high school students and act as a role model. You will plan lessons aligned with the curriculum and assist with program launches and enrollments.

The role requires experience with at-risk youth, STEM knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Evening or weekend duties may be required, with background checks and trainings conducted.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Experience with at-risk youth desired.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Teach high school students and act as a role model.
• Plan for classes, programs and enrichment; write and follow lesson plans.
• Assist Site Coordinator with program launches, open houses, field trips and performances.
• Assist in recruiting and enrollment for the C2 Pipeline 21st CCLC Program.
• Assist with surveys, data collection and deadlines; participate in assessments and trainings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
