Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a single-facer operator to manage production, assist wet-end/dry-end operations, and support quality control. Responsibilities include roll handling, splicing, and routine maintenance. This hands-on role requires reading instructions, measuring materials accurately, and maintaining safety standards.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on efficiency and teamwork, ensuring adherence to quality specifications and production schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to read and follow factory instructions.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Able to calculate figures and amounts (percentages, measurements, volume).

Responsibilities

• Operate the single-facers to produce the highest level of production and quality.
• Check wet end line-ups to verify correct roll stock is received and used.
• Install and change rolls, splice and prepare for runs.
• Monitor board quality during runs and adjust as needed.
• Submit maintenance work orders for repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety per policy.
