Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Module Facer Operator in Cedar Hill, TX. You will run the single-facer and assist wet-end and dry-end operations, including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to processes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in the corrugated industry, including six months on the dry end and six months as a Doublebacker Operator. Lift Truck operation may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience on the dry end of the corrugator.
• 6 months experience as a Doublebacker Operator.
• Eligible to bid for this position under the present labor/management agreement or have current work-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the single-facers to produce the highest level of production and quality.
• Check wet end line-ups to verify correct roll stock is received and used.
• Set up rolls of paper in mill stands and perform splices and changes as needed.
• Monitor board quality and make adjustments as necessary.
• Turn in maintenance work orders for repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping policies.
