Job summary

Pratt Industries in Humboldt, TN is seeking a Wet End Operator to support single-facer operations and assist wet-end and dry-end processes. You will help with setup, operation, cleanup, and contribute to process improvements on the line.

Responsibilities include running the single-facers, verifying roll stock, handling paper and splices, monitoring quality, coordinating with maintenance, and adhering to safety and housekeeping standards. HS diploma required; Lift Truck License may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Plan and perform basic math calculations relevant to production.

Responsibilities

• Operate the single-facers to produce maximum production and quality.
• Check wet end line-ups to verify correct roll stock.
• Handle rolls, splices, and changes with proper size and grade paper.
• Monitor board quality during runs and adjust as needed.
• Submit maintenance work orders when repairs are required.
• Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards.
