About This Role

Description of Principal Duties and Accountabilities

• Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on all training devices and associated hardware.
• Perform standard Morning Readiness tasks on all training devices.
• Perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks and inspections on all training devices.
• Assures training devices are maintained according to published procedures and standards.
• Assist in maintaining training device reliability.
• Assures Deficiency Reports (DRs/Snags) are worked in order of priority.
• Assembles and maintains training device sub-systems
• Generate and address any discrepancies observed during working hours.
• Clean training devices, computer rooms, hydraulic rooms, and surrounding areas, as required.

Qualifications Required

EDUCATION:

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent related training.

SKILLS:

• Ability to interpret system prints and schematics.
• Ability to utilize technical manuals

• Proficiency in operating test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc.).

• Knowledge in analog and digital theory.

• Computer literate (PC and / or computer mainframe/architecture).

• Proficiency in soldering and circuit board repairs.
• Fluency in English.
