Job summary

Colorado State University’s Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands is seeking a Simulations Facility Program Manager for the Training Support System at the Army National Guard Readiness Center in Arlington, VA. You will lead the Training Support Centers and the Simulations Centers to achieve full operational capability and oversee a team of up to five staff.

You will manage complex, long-term projects, coordinate with DoD and federal agencies, and ensure alignment with training

Qualifications

• Master’s degree plus at least 5 years related experience or a Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years related experience.
• Senior Leader Advanced NCO or Officer course, logistics background and Master Gunner preferable.
• Instructor Trainer Course, warehouse experience, and coordination of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, Simulations (TADSS).
• Army Instructor Trainer Course and Master Gunner Course required.
• Experience managing complex, long-term projects and supervision of a minimum of five personnel.
• Experience with Department of Defense and/or other Federal agencies.
• Familiarity with military training support, and with funding and execution of military construction projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of Training Support Centers and Simulations Centers for the Army National Guard from initiation to full operational capability.
• Manage projects including milestones, charrettes, modernization, and training assets.
• Coordinate program management, MDEPs, resources, and inter-divisional collaboration with DoD.
• Serve as Project Manager for Training Support Centers, SimFacs, and lead an Instructor Operators team.
• Assist with other Training Support System functions as required.
