Job summary

Ithaca College's Physician Assistant Program seeks a Technology Support Coordinator to manage and support instructional technologies, simulation-based education, and related software and equipment at the downtown Ithaca site. The role partners with IT, faculty, and staff to enhance student learning through advanced technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of IT, healthcare simulation, educational technology, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse populations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of computer systems, endpoints, software, AV technologies, networks, and computing environments.
• Coordinate with IT regarding classroom and instructional technology needs.
• Provide Tier I technical support for classroom AV and simulation systems; escalate issues as needed.
• Support Clinical Learning Center technology including simulators and recording systems.
• Program and test simulation scenarios for OSCEs and assessments.
• Coordinate maintenance, updates, calibration, vendor communication, and warranty services for equipment.
• Provide tech support for educational software, assessment platforms, and LMS used by the program.
• Coordinate technology for electronic examinations and post-exam support.
