Merrimack College seeks a Simulation Technician to support nursing programs through technical operations and maintenance of simulation labs. This on-campus role involves ensuring a high-quality educational experience through equipment management and data collection, ideally suited for candidates with a background in technology or computer science.
Position Overview: The Department of Nursing, in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Merrimack College seeks to hire a Simulation Technician that will provide: 1) technical and operational support for laboratories and simulation activities for the nursing programs, data collection related to laboratory and simulation education, and 3) assist with obtaining simulation accreditation. The Nursing Center at Merrimack College is a 20,000 square foot space which includes a classroom, two dedicated debriefing rooms, and seven multi-purpose simulation laboratory spaces. Simulation laboratory spaces are equipped with state of the art, hospital grade medical equipment, high and low fidelity manikins, trainers, audio visual systems, and electronic hardware and software systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
A background in computer science, technology, , or other related field, and one year of related
work experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
