Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Simulation Software Engineer (Level 3 or 4) to join the Space Systems team in Dulles, VA. You will develop spacecraft simulation software, model components from hardware data, and integrate layouts with multi-disciplinary teams in a SCIF environment.

100% onsite, with TS/SCI clearance required. The role offers seniority options (Level 3 or 4) depending on experience, and requires strong programming skills across C/C++, Python, and Matlab/Simulink, plus experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related engineering/science field and required years of experience as stated.
• Active TS/SCI clearance at time of application is required.
• Proficient in C/C++, Python; working knowledge of Matlab/Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Establish simulation requirements and plan full software lifecycle for spacecraft simulation.
• Develop component models from hardware documentation for cross-project use.
• Integrate and validate space vehicle models with other disciplines.
