Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2 years of relevant professional experience, or Master’s degree.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Must obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Advanced programming proficiency with C/C++, Python.
• Understanding of embedded system tools, RTOS, and avionics integration/test practices.
• Core affinity and parallel processing experience.
• Demonstrable programming experience on Linux.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software modules and work with data protocols (UART, Synchronous Serial, MIL-STD-1553, SpaceWire, SPI).
• Collaborate to establish flight-software requirements, testing, and verification plans.
• Perform trade studies via simulation or development kits.
• Work with engineers to integrate spacecraft components and flight software with the simulation platform.
• Be involved in hardware and software design, development, debugging, and integration on simulation and hardware-in-the-loop platforms.
• Analyze system resources to improve efficiency, stability, and speed.
• Prepare design documentation, analysis, test results and presentations for stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot software installation, integration, and operational issues.
• Work in an innovative environment across diverse assignments and teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
