Job Title

Simulation Software Engineer III

Key Responsibilities

• Support Machine Learning [ML] algorithm training and evaluation using the generated synthetic data, run training jobs, produce evaluation metrics, and iterate on dataset composition based on model performance
• Configure simulation scenes and sensor parameters to match customer/architect specifications
• Validate and quality-check generated data before hand-off

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Machine Learning [ML] infrastructure design.
• Camera & sensor simulation fundamentals including Sensor modeling, Camera intrinsic/extrinsic setup and calibration, and Basic understanding of Image Signal Processing [ISP] and image formation.
• Familiarity with Linux dev environments and source control
• Previous Artificial Intelligence [AI] experience to develop Machine Learning [ML] architectures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with rendering engines (Blender, Unreal, Unity) or in-house simulation frameworks
• Optical/imaging background (radiometry, Point Spread Function [PSF], Modulation Transfer Function [MTF])
• Prior experience with camera/ISP tuning or perception model development

Salary Range

The salary for this position is between $166,400 - $222,560 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
