Job summary

Tech Partners is seeking a software engineer to design, code, and test simulation software for training devices. You will manage the full software lifecycle, collaborate with systems engineers, and ensure compliance with interface requirements between software and hardware. A signing bonus of up to $5,000 is available.

The role involves about 25% travel across the United States and occasional international trips, with a standard 40-hour workweek and overtime as needed. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent; or 3 years related practical experience.
• Minimum 18 months of simulation industry experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, implement, and test simulation software for simulator training devices and similar applications.
• Develop software lifecycle tasks: design, development, integration, verification, and documentation within budget and schedule constraints.
• Review specifications with engineers to identify interfaces between software and hardware.
• Write code in C, Fortran, and other languages; operate Linux.
