Job summary

May Mobility, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Simulation Infrastructure to lead a team of full-stack and infrastructure engineers. You will steer deployment, scaling, and operational health of web apps, databases, and cloud infra powering massive parallel simulation runs.

You will shape the roadmap, architect secure high-throughput APIs, and ensure platform reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency while growing a high-performing team and aligning with the Simulation Engine group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience spanning backend services and cloud infrastructure.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience guiding teams that operate production workloads on container orchestration platforms at scale (Kubernetes) and PostgreSQL.
• Solid background building secure, high-throughput APIs and web services (Go, Python, Node.js) with React frontends.
• Proven experience recruiting, building, and mentoring full-stack or infra engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of engineers focused on simulation workflows and platform health.
• Own the roadmap for web applications and tools supporting scenario management, run orchestration, and analytics.
• Guide scalable cloud infrastructure and container orchestration for massive batch simulations.
• Oversee relational databases and high-throughput APIs connecting frontends to simulation systems.
• Drive best practices, reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency across the platform.
• Collaborate with Simulation Engine and stakeholders to align capabilities with business needs.
