Job summary

Mach Industries Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to own and scale the training, data, and edge‑inference backbone powering our autonomy stack. You will drive data pipelines, synthetic data generation, and real‑time model deployment on embedded hardware in flight.

You’ll work across perception, localization, embedded, and flight‑test teams to move capabilities from prototype to HITL to deployment, with a challenging, high‑ownership scope.

Qualifications

• Python for ML and tooling in Linux environments.
• Proven experience building ML data and training pipelines end-to-end.
• Hands-on PyTorch experience across detection/segmentation/tracking.
• Edge deployment with model compression and runtime optimization.
• Data and MLOps tooling: Parquet, dataset/versioning, CI-based validation.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve training and data infrastructure for the autonomy team.
• Stand up scalable training/eval infra with multi-GPU support and model registry.
• Deploy real-time edge inference on Jetson-class hardware with latency targets.
• Improve models across the portfolio: detection, segmentation, tracking, ATR.
• Generate synthetic data at scale and manage sim-to-real gaps.
• Instrument runtime health, drift detection, and retraining loops.
