Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate’s degree in technical, computer, or healthcare-related areas or EMT certification preferred.
• 2–3 years of work experience demonstrating strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to move equipment (under 25 lbs) independently and heavier items with assistance.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to work with students, faculty, and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; willingness to adapt to changes in role.
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn simulation programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with faculty to set up, maintain, and organize equipment and materials for simulation sessions.
• Prepares, programs, and operates simulators, trainers, and AV systems during events.
• Performs day-to-day maintenance and cleansing of equipment and rooms.
• Supports faculty, students, and visitors in using simulation space and equipment.
• Maintains connectivity to simulation equipment and troubleshoots software/hardware issues.
• Maintains inventory of supplies for lab events and assists with moulage setups when needed.
• Inputs daily patient data for simulated patients in eDH and helps in other duties as assigned.
