Job summary

The University of New Hampshire Health Sciences Simulation Center seeks a Simulation Technician to support mobile unit-based simulation sessions across rural New Hampshire. You will coordinate equipment, operate simulators and AV systems, and assist with lab and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include travel with the mobile unit, providing technical support to students and faculty, and helping train new technicians while ensuring clean, safe, and organized simulation spaces.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences (clinical related field) is required.
Valid Driver’s license required.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

Coordinate equipment and supplies for mobile unit events and ensure proper storage.
Boot up and shut down simulators and prepare training rooms and equipment.
Operate simulation and AV equipment and manage simulator software controls.
Travel with the mobile unit to sites in rural New Hampshire to provide outreach and training.
Provide technical support for task trainers and multimedia peripherals used in simulations.
Assist in training new simulation technicians and support safety and lab operations.
