Job summary

Dartmouth Health in Lebanon, NH is seeking an Equipment Support Specialist to assist in the preparation, operation and maintenance of educational and assessment equipment for the D-H Patient Safety Training Center. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with benefits starting on day one.

Responsibilities include setting up simulation sessions, maintaining simulators and equipment, and supporting faculty, students, and visitors in using simulation space.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate’s degree in technical, computer, or healthcare-related areas or certified EMT preferred.
• Two to three years of work experience demonstrating strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to independently move equipment and assist with heavier manikins.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with faculty and center personnel to prepare, set up, maintain, and organize equipment and materials for simulation sessions and events.
• Prepares and breaks down simulators, task trainers, and equipment for lab events.
• Performs day-to-day maintenance and cleansing of equipment, simulators, trainers and rooms.
• Inputs daily patient data for simulated patients in eDH and programs software to model simulator responses.
• Supports operations staff to ensure optimum functionality of the Center.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
