Job summary

Houston Methodist MITIE is seeking a part-time PRN Technician to support daily simulation activities in the MITIE center. You will prepare spaces and equipment, stock rooms, and assist staff with training programs that involve cadavers and animate tissue.

The role requires safety awareness, strong organization, and the ability to work extended shifts as needed. Qualifications include a High School diploma and healthcare setting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety and lab policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare spaces and equipment for simulation activities.
• Assist with coordination of simulation rooms, equipment and supplies.
• Transport and prep diverse simulation models (cadavers, tissues).
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of lab spaces and equipment.
• Support lab staff with MRI/CT and surgical equipment as needed.
