The Simulation Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and advancement of a clinical simulation laboratory. This position supports the preparation and delivery of simulation-based educational activities, manages simulation and medical equipment, and ensures the efficient operation of learning technologies. The ideal candidate is highly technology-savvy, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and serves as a key resource for integrating innovative technologies into educational programs.
In addition to technical and operational responsibilities, this individual will act as a point person for digital content development, including creating instructional materials, recording and editing videos, managing multimedia resources, and supporting virtual and hybrid learning initiatives. The successful candidate will be proficient with learning technologies, audiovisual systems, simulation software, and emerging educational technologies, while collaborating with faculty and staff to develop engaging educational content and enhancing the learner experience.

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a clinical simulation laboratory. Prepares lab sessions, performs basic repair and maintenance on medical and simulation equipment, maintains inventory of equipment and supplies, and participate in activities using medical equipment and simulators.
Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in a related field required May substitute required education with equivalent years of experience beyond the minimum experience requirement. required Minimum Experience: 2 years of related experience required 6 months previous experience in simulation lab preferred Physical Requirements: Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
