Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Software Developer (Modeling and Simulation) to join our Quantico, VA team. You will design, develop, and sustain simulation models and environments and ensure interoperability with MCWL efforts.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/related field and 7–10 years of software development experience in simulation or game-like environments; proficiency in C++, C#, Python, or Java; and experience with simulation platforms such as Unity, Unreal, or NGTS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development or related field.
• 7+ years in software development focusing on simulation or game-based environments (9+ years with associates).
• Proficiency in C++, C#, Python, or Java and version control workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain simulation models and environments.
• Integrate models into larger system architectures and ensure interoperability.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and SMEs to improve fidelity and accuracy.
• Implement new features, test, and troubleshoot across simulation platforms.
• Plan, coordinate, and document simulation projects with stakeholders.
