Job summary

You will apply machine learning and AI to speed simulations, develop web‑based 3D tooling, and collaborate with teams to improve part yield and inspection efficiency across SpaceX programs such as Starship and Starlink.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math, or STEM; or 5+ years of software experience.
• 2+ years of software development in C++/Python or OO languages.

Responsibilities

• Own software architecture and quality of simulation software across SpaceX.
• 2- Develop next‑generation multi‑physics simulation software integrating CFD, meshing, and CAD tools.
• 3- Build interfaces for viewing and interpreting simulation results.
• 4- Debug issues related to software integration, meshing quality, and simulation accuracy.
• 5- Apply ML/AI (surrogate models, physics‑informed nets) to speed simulations and improve part yield.
• 6- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement features and automate processes.
• 7- Validate simulation results using industry benchmarks.
