Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a Simulation Engineer to help develop and optimize next-generation semiconductor equipment using cutting-edge simulation technologies and digital twin methodologies.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to create high-fidelity simulation models, improve product performance, and accelerate design innovation.

Qualifications

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
  • Strong experience with CFD and FEA tools such as ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS Mechanical, STAR-CCM+, Simcenter 3D, or similar.
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, structural mechanics, and engineering simulations.
  • Programming experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar scientific computing tools.
  • Experience with CAD software such as Siemens NX, Creo, or SolidWorks.
  • Strong communication and technical presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thermal, structural, and fluid flow simulations to support equipment design and optimization.
  • Conduct CFD and FEA analyses, including heat transfer, gas flow, stress, vibration, and structural performance.
  • Develop surrogate models, reduced-order models, and AI-driven prediction tools to improve simulation efficiency.
  • Build and enhance digital twin models by integrating simulation with testing and operational data.
  • Automate simulation workflows and support design optimization initiatives.
  • Validate simulation models through testing and engineering analysis.
  • Present technical findings and collaborate with design, software, manufacturing, and process engineering teams.

Are you passionate about engineering simulation, AI, and advanced product development? We're looking for a Simulation Engineer to help develop and optimize next-generation semiconductor equipment using cutting-edge simulation technologies and digital twin methodologies.

In this role, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to create high-fidelity simulation models, improve product performance, and accelerate design innovation.

What You'll Do
  • Perform thermal, structural, and fluid flow simulations to support equipment design and optimization.

What We're Looking For
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Semiconductor industry experience is a plus.
