Job summary

PrideNow is seeking a Simulation Engineer in Fremont, CA to perform CFD and FEA simulations for thermal, structural, and fluid analyses. You will develop surrogate models, create digital twin frameworks, and automate workflows for design optimization and ML model development.

Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace, Computational Eng, Applied Math or Data Science.
  • Strong experience with CFD/FEA tools (ANSYS Fluent/Mechanical, STAR-CCM+, Simcenter 3D).
  • Programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB.
  • Experience with CAD platforms (Siemens NX, Creo/ProE, SolidWorks).

Pay: $41.43–$73.54/hour (based on experience & location tier)

Contract: 12+ Months with strong potential for extension

What you'll do
  • Perform CFD and FEA simulations for thermal, structural, and fluid flow analysis.
  • Develop surrogate models and reduced-order models (ROMs) to accelerate engineering design.
  • Build digital twin frameworks by integrating simulation, experimental, and operational data.
  • Create automated workflows for design optimization and machine learning model development.
  • Perform model validation, uncertainty quantification, sensitivity analysis, and parameter calibration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative simulation solutions.
What we're looking for
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS Mechanical, STAR-CCM+, Simcenter 3D, or similar CFD/FEA tools.
  • Solid background in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, structural mechanics, and numerical methods.
  • Experience developing surrogate models, reduced-order models, or simulation acceleration techniques.
  • Programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB.
  • Experience with CAD platforms such as Siemens NX, Creo/ProE, or SolidWorks.
