Job summary

Drexel University in Philadelphia is seeking an Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor – Simulation Faculty to support the College of Nursing and Health Professions by infusing experiential learning through simulation across undergraduate and graduate curricula.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Assistant Dean to create, implement, and evaluate substantive experiential learning experiences using simulation to meet professional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or Health Professions or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Teaching load: incorporate direct simulation teaching as part of workload.
• Lead curriculum innovation and integration with simulation-based learning (online and in person).
• Provide guidance to faculty to match methods and modalities to learning objectives.
• Train and coach faculty to utilize debriefing (Debriefing with Good Judgment).
• Direct facilitation and teaching in simulation across the curriculum.
• Attend faculty meetings and collaborate with faculty and simulation operation specialists.
