Clinical Simulation Instructor

Ranked as the best nursing school in the world the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing advances the entire profession, from research & education to practice & policy. The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing has immediate openings for part-time Clinical Simulation Instructors.

Facilitates formative and summative simulation sessions at the undergraduate level. Provides feedback on pre-simulation assignments to prepare the learner for an active and engaging educational experience. Fosters clinical judgement by posing reflective questions during debriefing. Provides a safe learning environment to ensure an optimal learning experience.

Courses: All undergraduate clinical courses (Health Assessment, Medical-Surgical, Pediatric, Obstetrical, Community, Psychiatric Mental Health, and Leadership Nursing).

The candidate will teach in the Department of Biobehavioral Health Sciences or Department of Family and Community Health in the School of Nursing.


Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution and a current PA RN license required. To note: BSN-prepared nurses, currently enrolled in an MSN program are eligible but MSN must be completed within 5 years.
